If a host of women and queer femmes drop a business and marketing podcast in the world wide web, does it make a sound? Are you, too, looking for a way to be the change you want to see in capitalism? Fear not! Danielle Bilbruck (she/her), Kaleigh Myers (she/her), and Abhainn Connolly (they/them) meet every Tuesday to ask the hard questions of brands and their business, sales, and marketing practices. It’s our mission to encourage businesses large and small to act in ways that are ethical, sustainable, responsible, and humane, in and out of the office. And to be honest, we do it with more than our fair share of snark.
If you're looking for a podcast on marketing basics, quick fixes, or want to discuss in-depth business theory, we are not the pod for you. We operate our corner of the pod-verse in a way that engages in timely and honest conversations with one another (and some incredible guests) about how we can all work together and do business in a way that we can feel good about. There may be no RIGHT way to do business and marketing, but there are definitely WRONG ways to do it…and we’re just idealistic enough to believe we can make it all better through exploration, inspiration, and practical application advice along the way.
We're looking for people with jobs in marketing, business, sales, PR/communications, and/or tech willing to have open and honest conversations about trending or controversial topics in your field of expertise. We’re all about good, ethical, responsible ways to work in this space amid a lot of… profit-focused practices, to put it politely.
We want to chat with a healthy mix of professionals: in-house, agency, consulting, nonprofit, and small business folks are all welcome to apply. We want to talk to subject matter experts who are fired up, who want to dish on what they’re excited about or what puts them up on their highest soapbox. It can be trends, current events, basic principles, the future of sh*t. Maybe it’s DE&I or algorithm changes or bad ads or good ads or the future of work or the future of marketing or AI or AR or or or…
What’s most important is that we want fluid and honest conversations that are fun or… even intense at times. And we want to leave listeners with ways they can make an immediate impact: What can they implement or take action on tomorrow or next week that aligns with your way of thinking?
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again - there might not be a RIGHT way to do marketing or business, but there are definitely WRONG ways to do it. So let’s create a better roadmap, together.
